Hamed Rafahati Khenachahi (February 1985 in Rasht, Iran)

Hamed Rafahati Khenachahi, born in February 1985 in Rasht, Iran, is a graduate of Fine Arts. He spent his childhood and teenage years in a village where his family home was surrounded by vast rice fields. With no other houses within several kilometers, the distant horizons and the blue, sometimes rainy sky were a constant source of inspiration for his dreams and emotions.

From a young age, Hamed became interested in painting. Believing that academic knowledge was more important than formal education, he studied painting under renowned masters. For him, the subject was always a means to use visual elements and pass them through the filter of his mind to create his own unique visual structure.

Hamed Rafahati has held several solo exhibitions:

1. The first solo exhibition in 2016 at Marlik Gallery, Rasht.
2. The second solo exhibition in 2017 at Shahnoosh Gallery, Bandar Anzali.
3. The third solo exhibition in 2018 at Farabi Gallery, Soumaeh Sara.
4. The fourth solo exhibition in 2019 at Master Mahjoobi Gallery, Lahijan (with a workshop on the final day).
5. The fifth solo exhibition in 2021 at Baharak Gallery, Tehran, titled “Soorekhial.”
6. The sixth solo exhibition in 2021 at Imaj Gallery, Rasht.
7. The seventh solo exhibition in 2022 at Baharak Gallery, Tehran, titled “Lojenak.”
8. The eighth solo exhibition in 2023 at Baharak Gallery, Tehran, titled “Eshian.”

In addition, he has participated in several group exhibitions from 2016 to 2024, including in Surik, Arman, Ivan Sepid, and Laleh galleries.

Hamed Rafahati is a member of the Gilan and Iranian Painters Association. His watercolor work has been published in the book “Iranian Watercolor Artists” in Tehran. Three of his works were selected in the 13th Fajr Visual Arts Festival in 2019, and his artworks were published in the festival’s book. He has also conducted workshops, including a tribute to the Caspian Sea and several educational workshops.
